MOUNTAIN BIRD WATCHING 6:45A.M.-1:00P.M. On Request

Come to observe the beautiful birds of paradise around Puerto Vallarta.  We will drive you south into the mountains. Behind a small village, we will hike up a trail that pass through meadows, orchads, and wooded areas perfect for  warblers, flycatchers, doves, jays and more. Past highlights have been the Russett –Crowned, motmot, masked tityra and the sovirell cuckoo. These deluxe birds are not guaranteed to be, but our record is pretty good.

The Tour includes: continental breakfast, energetic snacks, purified bottle waters. Minimum 6 pax

 

COASTAL BIRD WATCHING 6:45 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Every Day

We will drive you to a local estuary down a road paralleling the river. This is a great habitat for Seedeaters, Buntings, Orioles, Kestlers and more. At the estuary we will use binoculars to scan the shores and mangroves for Egrets, Herons, Avocets and Sandpipers. Next we will drive 15 min. to afresh water lagoon to view Rails, Coots, Jacanas and Ducks. There is a restaurant at the lagoon where drinks are provided. It’s a  nice place to review the day’s bird list and check off 30 to  50 species.

The Tour includes: continental breakfast, land transportation, energetic snacks, purified bottle waters.  Minimum 6 pax

 

ALTAMIRA BIRD WATCHING 6:30A.M.-1:00P.M. Every Day

Come and join us in a wonderful experience exploring this semitropical route were you will be able to see a lot of different species of migratory and resident birds like Macaws, Orioles, Trogon’s, Pewee’s, Dove’s, Hawk’s, Jay’s, Tanger’s, Woodpecker’s, Martin’s and much more. We will drive south into the mountains and hike up to a dirt road that turns into a trail. We will pass through meadows, pines and wooden areas that are a perfect habitat for these wonderful birds.

After this we will move to the second site for another two hours of birds watching were we will have a delicious lunch. The Tour includes: Continental breakfast, land transportation, energetic snacks, purified bottle waters and lunch.  Minimum 6 pax

 

TROPICAL TOUR 9.30 A.M-3:00 P.M. Every Day

Your driver/guide will pick you up at you Hotel for the most complete tour of the city with its highlights and hidden spots. You will be taken to the exciting new marina development, the beautiful marina golf course, some of the best stores in town for shopping and to our Lady of Guadalupe Church with its unusual and beautiful crown tower in the Main Plaza. From there, you will go up to the very exclusive residential area of Conchas Chinas where you will have time to enjoy the breath-taking view of Vallarta. Our tour will continue southward along the Gold Coast of Jalisco to Mismaloya Beach. Here you can swim in the refreshing river or purchase lunch by the river in the local community. Camera, walking shoes and bathing suit are suggested

COUNTRY SIDE 9:30 A.M.3:00 P.M. Every Day

Some of Puerto Vallarta’s most attractive sights are outside the city. Travel north with your guide to the adjacent state of Nayarit to those little, rustic agricultural areas such as banana, mango, papaya, tobacco, watermelon, plantations and tiny mountain village. Your guide will make a stop for lunch (not included in the price of the tour) and swimming at a beautiful beach before returning to your hotel. Wear walking –shoes as a long walk through a tropical jungle await you. Don’t forget your camera  to capture the natural beauties!  Minimum 6 pax

 

SAN BLAS TOUR 7:00AM-6:00PM Tues., Thurs. and Saturday

Add more adventure to your Puerto Vallarta vacation with the San Blas full day excursion available every Tuesday. You will ride through the beautiful mountain chain north of Puerto Vallarta through lush jungles and mangroves while your narrator points out the sights. Then a boat ride at “La Tobara” which is a system of canals deep in the jungle. Enjoy the Canyon’s lago, a paradise where a large concentration of birds, turtles, alligator’s roams freely in their natural habitat. Then, we will visit the historical city of San Blas, Lunch and refreshments included. Minimum 8 pax                                                                 

 

TEQUILA SIX PACK TOUR 7:30AM-9:30PM Mon. & Wed

This adventurous and informative tour will take you north through rich agriculture, stopping near the Ceboruco Volcano, you will sea lava fields and hear the history behind it. Next stop, the pyramids of Nahuatl and its once civilization. How about trying tequila straight from the distillery “Tequila Sauza”, and see how the tequila is grown and processed. Enjoy lunch in a 17Th. Century Hacienda..  Minimum 8 pax

 

FIESTA MEXICANA 7:00PM-10:00PM Tues, Thurs and Saturday

This daily tour starts from the lobby of your hotel at 9:00 a.m. Your guide will drive through the tropical countryside, passing by the small village of Las Palmas to the ranch. Riding will start along the river trail to enjoy a leisurely swim next to a beautiful water fall, to continue through lush vegetation and tropical rain forest of the nearby mountains, this exciting tour will finish with

a delicious Mexican lunch at the ranch. Don’t forget your camera, wear long ants and bring your bathing suit. 

 

HORSEBACK RIDING 8:30AM-4:00PM Every Day

GUADALAJARA OVERNIGHT Wednesday

Escape to the capital of our State of Jalisco named the City of the Roses that still preserves its unique Colonial flavor. Enjoy great views of the Sierra Madre Mountains in route visit the Pyramids of Ixtlan and Tequila. Includes the most important sites in Guadalajara: The Civic Plaza (Tapatia) where the Degollado Theater stands, the local market and travel through the most attractive avenues and streets. A very important stop will be made at Tlaquepaque where the most attractive arts and crafts are displayed and sold.  Includes Hotel accommodations at a four-star Hotel. BULLFIGHTS

Every Wednesday during the Season (November to June) at 5:00 p.m. Professional Matadors perform at the main bullring. A different experience and great opportunity for pictures when Matadors face death while the crowd cheers.

Join us for a fascinating voyage uncovering the secrets of the natural wonders on Banderas Bay, this especially outfitted motor and sailing catamaran has been designed to either snorkels or scuba divers. On board you will see examples of and learn about the marine and wildlife that abound in the Bay. You will hear the sounds of the underwater monitoring system, and at the same time, we will be cruising along the north shore to the Las Tres Marietta’s Wildlife Preserve. Learn more about the local sea life aboard the “GERONIMO”, visiting Las Marietas, Jacques Costeau´s favorite spot. Includes breakfast, lunch, drinks, full equipment, dive masters and instructors. Beginners will need to take a scuba-lesson before the trip at additional cost.

The Marietas Islands have provided sanctuary from the ocean well. Dolphins, sea turtles and the ever-friendly giant mantas flourish in the shallows and unique, complex marine ecosystem have evolved in the shelter of these islands. One of the great ecological miracles of recent decades has been the renaissance of the humpback whale from the brink extinction. Our tour to the Marietas takes in a visit to secluded beach and guests are taken ashore to explore his white sand hideaway.

Join us for an expedition in to the Sierra Madre and we will show you a Mexico the most tourists, and many Mexicans, never get to see. We drive through clear mountain streams that have, over centuries, cut towering canyons deep into the rugged Sierras. DEEP SEA FISHING Daily 6 Hours 

Share or rent a private boat with an experienced crew for small or big game fishing. Sailfish, marlin, tuna, bonito, and many others are abundant. Includes services of captain, bait and tackle. Beer and soft drinks available aboard for purchase. Fishing licenses on your own. We suggest your bring your own box lunch. Boat reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance.

TRIO JUNGLE TOUR 8:00AM-4:00PM Mon., Wed and Fri.

A fantastic ride along the coast, will take you to admire the incredible Mismaloya where “Night of the Iguana” was filmed in 1963. From here, we get into the Sierra Madre, where Chico’s Paradise is located by the river movie set for Caveman and Acapulco H.E.A.T. And now we go to the Chino´s Paradise, another outstanding place located in the middle of the jungle.  And set for last “El Eden “ a must in your visit to Vallarta, movie set for several films like:    “ Predator ” , “Gun Men” and “Overkill”, really a breathtaking spot in the jungle waterslide, rope swinging, wild creatures, outstanding views, great seafood and tropical drinks and the magic feeling of the jungle surrounding your senses.
