Palenque
Is located in the middle of the jungle, considered to be one of the biggest jewels and creations of Mesoamerican man, who not only wanted to create a great civilization, but also a politic and social organization, supported by high religious, humanistic, artistic and scientific values, before ever coming in contact with the western world.

Inside a jungle zone there are groups of buildings communicated with each other by plazas and stairs. These groups are characterized by being part of the architectural renovation of the Mayans: light volume constructions. Among them, the North Temple, Count Temple, ball game, Temple of the Sun, Aqueduct, Palace and others.

The place has a site museum, that exhibits a collection of objects found during explorations.
