Chihuahua The capital of the Mexican state
of Chihuahua. The city has numerous architectural attractions
such as the Cathedral, built of pink quarry stone which lovely
portal shows the first traces of the baroque style. The ancient
center is surrounded by suburbs of magnificent nineteenth-century
mansions in the best Gothic tradition. A must-see on most visitors'
agendas is "Pancho Villa's Mansion" which is a 50-room
mansion that was turned into a museum by his widow, Luz Corral
de Villa. |
